I have done. In fact I've got the clutch master cylinder from a CBR1000RR. However, I'm not sure it's mechanically easy to fit as it's really designed to sit on the handlebars. From that point of view I suppose the rear brake MC might actually be better...

Have you considered a rear brake master cylinder from a motorcycle? these are generally 0.5inch.

I wondered about changing the attachment point of the clevis on the pedal. Problem is, I'd either have to tilt the master cylinder slightly or arrange some sort of dogleg shaft. That may be the easiest way to do it though.

That looks like a firm but fair move. There's probably a certain amount of 'oooh last corner' thinking that stopped Neil watching where you were. It's a fairly unlikely place to pass too, but you are genuinely alongside, Neil's just stopped watching you.

Still an unsatisfying way to get a place, but a fair move I think.

Oh dear tim, looks like the fury has ran out of luck! It seems to be asking for more attension after each outing. is the j15 too far off completion to put all your time into finishing then patching up the fury?

looking back at the clutch it may be worth trying to lower the point the clevis atached to the pedal.

that pass looked good and legal, just hope it didn't cause any more damage

I've had great service from Protech too, on various occasions, one of them being replacing a chipped damper rod at no charge...

Those double adjustables look nice!

It is a shame you were soo close to missing him, after such a agressive drive. Is there a set of rules on who has right of way when you are coming up on the inside? good luck with the fix. hope you don't find any other problems, which will take time away from the j15.
I see what you mean about your starts. it looks like you get a lot of wheel spin the way you fight the wheel as every one else seems to get going. could this be a clutch ratio problem, leading to you not having fine enough control. the revs seem to jump up and down as you play the clutch. it could be your throttle foot as well. maybe you should try keeping the engine on the limiter and concentrate on the clutch. you run the engine to the limiter in the race so it shouldn't harm the engine too much. infact constant revs should help with oil pressure better. as for clutch life experice will see how many starts it will last. it would get similar abuse if the bike was racing as the issue there is to keep the front wheel on the ground rather than traction. the diffrence being the car is heavier so the slipping will last longer. being a wet clutch over heating shouldn't be an issue. The life left can be checked by measuring the amount of wear. I think you are also pretty good with oil changes as clutch abuse will degrade the oil.

That is a real shame. All you need to do is take the aggression and speed from race 2 and use it for the rest of the season (without being taken out twice :))

No, the damper's knackered as are a number of rod ends and the upright. Also one of the suspension mounting's been torn out of the chassis. :-(
